Britt Ekland to bare all on stage
"I am planning my one woman show," says the 67-year-old star of The Wicker Man and The Man with the Golden Gun. "It will be a showcase of my life. It starts at the beginning and ends where I am today. It will have every single inch of my life - as much as you can get into an hour. I will be touring everywhere."
Ekland married Sellers less than two weeks after they met. However, she has warned her three children, Victoria, 44, Nikolaj, 36, and Thomas Jeffersen, 21, not to rush.
"I said go out, have fun, party and don't get married the first thing you do," she tells Mandrake.
The Swedish actress, who is an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Society, the nominated charity for the 2010 Bupa Great Run Series, had relationships with Rod Stewart and Warren Beatty.
She was married to Slim Jim Phantom, a rock drummer 20 years her junior.
Hands off Darling
Alistair Darling seemed to enjoy meeting the pulchritudinous members of The Saturdays when the pop group visited 11 Downing Street for a children's party last month. Sadly, the Chancellor seems to have made less of an impression on them.
"He was nice, but he didn't want to put his arm round us," complained Rochelle Wiseman, one of the band's five singers. Rochelle, 20, who was speaking at InStyle magazine's Best of British Talent Party, in Shoreditch, added: "The photographer said 'put your arm round the girls' and he said 'no', but I think it was because his wife was there."
She added: "I kind of wanted to ask him why I have to pay 40 per cent tax. I nearly asked him, and then he went. I just don't want to pay that much tax."
Heaven help Darling when she she starts paying 50 per cent tax in April.
