IDRIS ELBA DOESNT WANT HIS KIDS GROWING UP IN HOLLYWOOD

Idris Elba may be growing in popularity but he has no intentions of moving to Hollywood. The actor recently told media that he would never consider bringing his kids to Tinseltown where they would grow up in the limelight.

“I won’t be moving [to LA],” said the star. “I don’t want to get into all of that. I don’t want my family growing up here. That isn’t me, it just isn’t. I rented a place on my own in North Hollywood, but the time I spent here was on my own. I’m not into the whole fame thing.”

Elba went on to reminisce about his childhood in Hackney, London. “I have the best memories of playing outside with my friends,” shared the celebrity. “We had very little but it didn’t matter. It was the simple things that I enjoyed and I still do. It was a poor area back then but it taught me a lot.”

Idris Elba has a son named Winston and a tween daughter named Isan. You can catch him acting alongside Taraji Henson when the thriller No Good Deed hits theaters on September 12, 2014.
