Watch The 2016 Kids' Choice Sports Awards Winners

The 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards were held last night, July 17, and host Russell Wilson made sure that the night was extra slimey.

The award show took place at the Pauley Pavilion at the University of California in Los Angeles and sportstars such as  Kobe Bryant, Michael Strahan, and Tony Hawk were in attendance. The night included human bowling, a dance-off between Ciara and New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski, and a pie-eating contest.

This being the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards, sliming obviously had to be a part of the evening. Our favourite sliming had to be Kobe Bryant who had the honour of getting slimed with gold. The former basketballer gave a Legend Award speech, where he motivated children to follow their dreams. After the speech, the legend proudly received his sliming.
